A new family of surfaces developed from a single origin to connect formats, spaces and architecture through a more efficient use of resources.

Argenta Cerámica presents one of its key innovations at Cersaie 2026: Vecta, a new family of ceramic surfaces conceived to bring continuity to architecture through different formats, a shared material language and a more responsible approach to design.
From 21 to 25 September, in Hall 36, Stand B12/C15, the company will present in Bologna a concept based on a simple idea, yet one with significant implications for architectural design: a single material can retain its identity regardless of scale or format, while optimising the use of raw materials and resources.
Vecta is not conceived merely as a new collection. Above all, it represents a new way of designing: a system in which every piece follows the same construction logic and where floor tiles, wall tiles and other surfaces coexist under a common identity. This consistency makes it possible to approach design with greater continuity, precision and responsibility.
A single origin. Multiple possibilities.
At the heart of Vecta is a 120×120 cm master format with a thickness of 8 mm, from which the entire dimensional family is developed.
This approach ensures a high degree of consistency across the different formats, preserving visual continuity, colour uniformity and graphic correspondence between pieces.
The family comprises six formats: 120×120, 60×120, 60×60, 30×120, 30×60 and 15×120 cm, designed to be combined with one another and provide compositional freedom without compromising the dimensional balance of the overall system.
The result is a modular system that makes it possible to work with different scales and configurations while maintaining a consistent identity. A tool for designing with greater freedom and coherence, avoiding disconnected material solutions within the same space.

Total continuity, without interruption
Vecta’s true contribution becomes apparent when the material is no longer understood as a succession of independent pieces, but instead becomes part of a continuous architectural language.
The dimensional relationship between the formats makes it possible to create spaces in which the material flows naturally, reinforcing the perception of continuity and sophistication.
Floor and wall surfaces can share the same material identity, creating more cohesive projects and greater visual purity. To guarantee the modularity of the system and ensure precise installation, a 2 mm technical joint must be used.
Responsible engineering in the service of architecture
Vecta is backed by Grupo Argenta’s most advanced technology, recently installed at Factory 1 in Vall d’Alba.
Its production system, based on a single master format, follows a logic of efficiency: it optimises resources, improves consistency across formats and achieves high levels of precision, flatness and colour stability. Less material and more efficient use of resources result in a more efficient and responsible solution.
Optimising the thickness to 8 mm helps reduce raw material consumption and emissions associated with the production process compared with conventional solutions, without compromising the technical performance or precision required for flawless installation. With Vecta, sustainability and design are not treated as separate concepts, but as integral parts of the same approach to design.

A shared identity, beyond the floor
Vecta also expands its possibilities through a 120×280 cm ceramic slab with a thickness of 6 mm, conceived as a complement to the family and designed to extend the material language to other surfaces within the project.
Its large format makes it possible to clad walls, integrate furniture and create architectural elements, extending material continuity beyond the floor. Its design allows it to be combined with the 8 mm Vecta formats while maintaining a 2 mm joint and the same visual and construction logic.
