PRESS RELEASE
Argenta's new ceramics logistics centre

Argenta remains committed to and is continuing to invest in the quality of its products and ongoing improvement in customer service. In order to do this, it has invested 5 million euros in a new logistics centre strategically located on the CV-10 road.

With a surface area of 129,000 m2, 45,000 m2 of which is indoors with an extension of approximately 25,000 m2 currently underway, this logistics centre will have indoor storage capacity in excess of 150,000 pallets, which will enable it to centralise the stock from its 4 factories and provide its customers with the highest-quality service and care throughout all stages.

This logistics centre is designed to be one of the pillars of Argenta’s strategy, equipped with a computerised storage system and locations managed with radiofrequency. Notable figures regarding its operating capacity include being able to load up to 10 containers simultaneously, and a waiting area for 10 lorries, plus 7 en route on the site. All this has been appropriately studied to provide easy access and designed to optimise loading times.

The service this logistics centre will provide will also be on a whole new level, as in addition to having an extensive loading time from 6am to 10pm, it also includes services such as waiting areas for drivers, with showers, toilets, lounges, a dining room and vending machines.

The new logistics centre will also have an area to manage picking orders, as well as sample management. This makes it possible to unify, streamline and reduce waiting times.

This logistics centre currently employs 20 people and new staff are expected to join in the coming months. Argenta Cerámica is thus continuing to demonstrate its commitment to the province and the sector, making major investments that consolidate its position as one of the global leaders in the tiles sector.
